Happy New Year Everyone, Please pardon me if I make a mitake, as this is the first time I have every ask for help and I am new to this computer thing and the internet, as well as this sight,
So please bear with me.
First of all I have been an Independent Over the Road long haul trucker from 1983-2006, prior to that I served in the US Marine Corps 1963-1983.
As I enlisted prior to my 17th birthday the VA refuses to grant me full benefits, and so I am forced to make a copay for my health care.
In 2006, I became sick while trucking through Phoenix, AZ., and ended up in hospital and underwent five major operations, Two open heart operations, Removal of my Gall Blater, part of my colon, and my right lung.
Six months ago I moved to Mississippi, where I now reside, after relocating I saw a local doctor and he refered me to a local cancer doctor, after some test They found that the cancer had returned to my colon and I am scheduled to be operated on around January 16th.
I curently reside in an independent living/disabled senior apartment complex, and as it doe not come furnished I have to obtain my own furnishing.
After rent and utilities I live on $401..00 per month of which does not leave me much spending money. I do not have a car although I am disabled I can still drive. I have no way of going anywhere on my own and I hate to ask the few friends I have as they are either working or seeking a job and its hard in this ecomony.
I have tried to buy a car however no dealer in this time will sell me a car as I dont make enough money to finance one, and their are no cheap cars in this town or if they are it will costs more to keep them running than they are worth.
I am hopeing that someone may either have a care that I can buy or know of one, all I can do is pay $100.00 per month and no I would not ask anyone to cosign note for me.
other than that the only other thing I could use is a small dining room table with two charis, I have a small apartment and The only thing I lack is a table I must either stand at the county in the kitchen or sit on my love seat or on the edge of my bed. to eat.
I have l;ooked around town and their seems to be a loack of used furniture in this area. at least none that I can afford.
